I began teaching as a Physics TA at UNLV in 1977 after graduating with a BA in Physics. I worked as a ceramics engineer during the early 1980s in Southern California using a scanning electron microscope, physics stuff. In the mid-1980s I worked as a math tutor, later became an instructor at San Diego State University and San Diego City College. In the early 1990s, I returned to school and earned a high school teaching certificate in physics and physical science. Later I was attracted back to graduate school and received a MA in Educational Technology just at the formation of the Internet. To see the world I began teaching Math and Chemistry in Las Vegas, math in Hawaii, CA, and AZ. My hobbies include Astronomy, Boogie boarding at the coast, cooling in the river and organic gardening in Parker.
