Hello everyone, my name is Danika Durham, I Am a senior at Parker High School and I am honored to be your October Student Of The Month. I was born and raised in Parker and my parents are Gretchen and Mark Durham and I have two older siblings, my brother Danny Durham, and my sister Demi Durham, both who were students at Parker High. My years at Parker High have been filled with fun experiences, academic achievements, sports triumphs, and lots of laughter. I have been a part of the varsity volleyball team and track team for the last four years. I have also been a part of the basketball cheer team for 2 years. I have participated in the Interact Club where I was the past president and vice president and was a member of FFA as the past secretary. I have been inducted into the National Honor Society and have been the Student Council class president the past three years. Now I am the student Body President of Parker High. I have also had the experience of breeding and showing ducks through FFA at the La Paz County fair. Academically, I have been on principal's honor roll for the past three years and will continue to strive to do so this year. I want to thank my family and friends for always supporting me and making high school a great experience. And none of these experiences would be possible without all the amazing and talented teachers, coaches, and staff. After high school I plan to pursue volleyball and get a degree in construction management to pursue a career in commercial building construction. I look forward to seeing what the school year holds for the students of Parker High School. GO BRONCS!!!
