Hello, my name is Hugo Figueroa. I was born in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. I lived in Parker my entire life. I have 5 family members; Maria (Mom), Armando (Dad), Rocio (sister), Armando, and Raul (brothers; I will be my family's last Parker Graduate). Being in my fourth and final year in Parker High School, I am glad to be chosen the December 2024 Student of the month.
Throughout my high school career, I have been an active student. I have attended many school dances, after school activities, club meetings and club fundraisers, sports, and my favorite: band concerts, parades, and football games. Sports and band have been a big part of my high school career. I did two years of golf and volleyball, and I am doing wrestling this year. For the band, I have been in it for four years. I have enjoyed every single thing about it.
As for me, my character can be described as wild. I am a person with leadership, I am a person who earned a title as the President of the Anime Club, Vice-President of Band, and Secretary of Band. I am a person with intelligence, I am in NHS and gained all A’s my entire year, minus the three B’s in my freshman year. I am also a person who likes to travel. I have traveled to many Volleyball away games, and traveled to my first ever Talent search trip.
After High School I plan to do multiple things. I plan on majoring in Computer Science and Minor in Japanese. With the profound knowledge of Japanese, I plan to study abroad there. Yes, it may be expensive, but I plan to sit down on a chair with a computer in front of me and apply to many scholarships.
