Jacob in a blue plaid shirt with a black cowboy hat looking off to the future

My name is Jacob Bailey and I am honored to be January’s student of the month. I am 17 years old and I am the son of Michael and Sarah Bailey. I am the oldest son and have two younger brothers and one younger sister. I have lived in Parker, Az my whole life and love it so much. My favorite memories were when I was younger and didn’t have to worry about gas prices, but my favorite memories in high school was being able to go to playoffs for football two years in a row. I want to thank all of my teachers, from kindergarten all the way to my senior year, in order to get me where I am today. I especially couldn’t have gotten where I am today without the support of my family through it all. I want to thank Mr. Munoz, Mrs. Doriman, Mrs. Hanson, and Mrs. Cabrillos for making these years fun and believing in me to be the best version of myself. After graduation I plan on enlisting in the United States Army and do eight years of service as a diesel mechanic and the ultimate dream is to open my own shop afterwards. My best advice for all the underclassmen and incoming high school students is: join a sport, lots of clubs, and make many friends as having good social skills will transfer into your adult life. Thank you Parker High School for choosing me to be student of the month and thank you for some of the best years of my life so far.
