Fernando with his football jersey and cowboy hat on the south green of the campus

Hello my name is Fernando Baldenegro. I am the son of Lori and Nando Baldenegro. I have been active in many extracurricular activities such as Football, Baseball, FFA, NHS, Youth for Youth, and I am the Senior class President. I am very grateful to be acknowledged as PHS September student of the month. It's crazy to think that I am already a senior. It feels like yesterday that I was a freshman searching for my classes. I feel like a parent telling their kid to take advantage of the time you spend in high school but it is true. It feels like you blink and now you have to worry about what you are going to do when you graduate. Personally, I plan on attending either the University of Arizona or New Mexico State to further my education and get a degree in Agricultural Business and Engineering. Life in high school has been a love/hate relationship but my teachers and parents have helped get me through it. Some of those teachers are Ms. Carranza, Mrs. Hansen, and Mr. Munoz. My Dad has made it easier with his wisdom and his faith, and my mom because of how strong she is and how amazing her work ethic is. If I could give any advice, I would say cherish the moments and don’t worry about the small things because God has your back even if it doesn't feel like it. Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.’’
